SHARON WILLS
Tuesday 05.20, 27 December 1988.
11 Hillcrest Ave, Ringwood.
Unknown subject: break and enter; abduction; rape; theft; female; 10 years.
On the 27th December 1988 at approximately 05:45 an unknown masked man entered the house at 11 Hillcrest Avenue, Ringwood via the backdoor by pushing the key through the lock. He was carrying a pistol with a silver-tipped barrel. The intruder went directly to the main bedroom where the parents were sleeping. He put a gun to the father's head and asked him “Are you going to be a hero” before ordering the parents to lie flat on the floor. He bound their hands and feet with copper wire telling them “All I want is money”. He took $35 cash from a wallet and cut the phone lines. He then proceeded to the bedroom where the four young daughters were sleeping. Sharon states that he opened the bedroom door, he had a torch and went directly to the top bunk where she lay, calling to her by name “Sharon”. She was scared so she pretended she was sleeping at which point he left the room, but it was only for a short while before he returned for her. He taped her eyes shut , gathered some clothes and walked her out of the house. It was at that point that Sharon started to scream, so he gagged her with a ball, telling her to be quiet before picking her up and fleeing with her on foot, carrying her down the driveway and then onto the street before stopping to put her down for a moment. He picked her up again and appeared to have changed direction, He carried her to a car parked that he had ready for the getaway. The masked intruder had stolen Will's daughter while they lay bound by copper wire. He had also taken with him $35 cash, a handbag,a blue jacket with the label Ecuadorian Shirt Company as well as some clothing for Sharon - a red and green tartan skirt, a white skirt, and a two-toned checked blouse.
Description: 20-30 years; 180cm; tall; thin build; hairy chest; blue boiler suit; dark blue ski mask with holes for the eyes and mouth, the holes were trimmed with white with a red line running through it.
Weapons: pistol with a silver-tipped barrel; copper wire

Bayswater High School
Sharon was found 18 Hours later at midnight, wandering on the corner of Orchard Road, Bayswater. She was wrapped in green garbage bags.
Sharon tells police that the abductor no had parked his car in an unknown location and carried Sharon on foot for several minutes before dumping her over the fence of Bayswater High School (end of Church St/ Orchard Rd), telling Sharon which direction to walk for help before taking off on foot. On the night that Mr. Cruel released Sharon at Bayswater High School a witness describes a white commodore entering Mountain Hwy via Jersey Rd at approx. 23:15. The witness stated the car's headlights were off and that the car turned out in front of him. The driver had to swerve violently to avoid crashing. When the witness pulled up to him at the traffic lights the driver of the car avoided contact and appeared anxious. The car was described as a white Holden Commodore Vacationer sedan.
